Carhartt WIP Returns to SURPLUS® for 2026
This October, Carhartt WIP heads back to SURPLUS® with a new weekend-exclusive collection, marking its second year at the Sydney festival presented by Nike Sportswear and SUPPLY®.
A limited-edition souvenir Santa Fe Jacket leads the collection, featuring a heavyweight Dearborn Canvas body and collar, faux-leather sleeves and a quilted nylon lining. Exclusive Carhartt WIP x Nike Sportswear x SURPLUS® branding finishes the piece.
Conceived as an elevated take on festival merchandise, the range spans a Zip Hooded Sweater and Fleece Shorts in cotton French terry, alongside long- and short-sleeve 100% cotton t-shirts, all carrying co-branded graphics.
The graphic language pulls from each collaborator’s signature color: Hamilton Brown for Carhartt WIP, orange for Nike Sportswear, and SUPPLY® Blue for SURPLUS®. An Urban Camo motif ties the capsule together, reflecting the spirit of discovery and exploration that runs through SURPLUS®’s multi-venue, outdoor program.
To mark the occasion, Carhartt WIP hosted an event on 16 October with three-piece band Suzy Sheer, bringing their shimmering, atmospheric electronics to Oxford Art Factory for a live performance.
SURPLUS® is a multi-venue festival spanning Darlinghurst, Eora/Sydney, from 16–18 October. Presented by SUPPLY® and Nike Sportswear, SURPLUS® brings together more than 180 local and international artists, musicians, designers, creatives and brands across 15 venues, connecting music, fashion, art and culture throughout the precinct.
